I have to confess after the holidays I always miss the delicious over indulgent foods - I love the heavy dinners and desserts - but when trying to eat healthily it’s best to start fresh at the end of the holiday! This is why I want to share my go-to super cleansing but super-satiating recipe that I always kick-off the New Year with. In fact, it’s so densely nutritious that it’s a staple in my household (oh, and it prevents and fights colds)!
The start of the New Year is always buzzing with energy and good intentions. For me, I find it a little tougher because the holiday festive time has always had a special place in my and my family’s hearts. 🎄
Not because of parties and presents, but, because no matter our physical circumstances - when we were rich, when we were poor - we put everything on hold and simply spend uninterrupted quality time, untouched by the outside world. 😊
