Have you been as excited as me about those three magic words: Apple Crisp Macchiato?

The Apple Crisp Macchiato is the perfect newest autumnal addition to the Starbucks fall menu. I think many of us PSL lovers might even say this caramelized-spiced appley drink is the biggest challenge to the reigning nostalgic autumn pick-me-up champion Pumpkin Spice Latte, and dare I even say it might be almost, or even as good as it! Can you believe I'm saying that?!

If you're loving the new Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato as much as I am, and can't stop heading through that coffeelicious drive-through to grab a cup of this new sweet fall coffee drink, you're going to want to try this Starbucks copycat recipe!

Apple Crisp Macchiato tastes just like you paired coffee, milk, and the warm gooey inside of an apple pie, all in one delicious cup! The flavor is crisp, cozy, spicey, and sweet. Just divine.

Made with espresso, apple brown sugar simple syrup, and steamed milk, this fall coffee drink tastes just like crisp and warm autumnal sweetness! However, just like with Pumpkin Spice Lattes and most of our favorite Starbucks specialty drinks, the newly beloved Apple Crisp Macchiato easily exceeds your recommended daily limit of added sugar.

One grande regular Apple Crisp Macchiato has a whopping 300 calories and 45 grams of sugar.

To give you an example of just how much 45 grams of sugar is, just one Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut has 10 grams of sugar. So, the grande Apple Crisp Macchiato has almost 5 donuts worth of sugar in it. Wow... right?!

A sugar free and keto apple crisp macchiato recipe!

But, don't worry - this doesn't mean you need to say goodbye to your favorite new drink of the season. I've been testing in the kitchen and with a few tweaks, I’ve made a really delicious version of this that you can replicate easily at home, and it's not only incredibly yummy but super healthy.

If you're loving the new Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato or just wanna try it without all the sugar and calories, you're going to want to try this healthy Sugar-Free Apple Crisp Macchiato copycat recipe!

I ditched all that sugar and artificial weird ingredients, and focused on using only using pure ingredients that I can actually pronounce. I made this dreamy autumn drink into something guilt-free, natural, sugar-free, and even better tasting, saving me from unwanted calories and that health wrecking, ridiculously high amount of sugar and artificial ingredients.

Actually, by removing all the artificial ingredients and using real ingredients instead, my Sugar-Free Keto Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato recipe has a more pure, crisp, and flavorful taste.

To create that sweet appley, warm caramel, spiced flavor for the drink, I make a warm creamy almost syrup-like base using a combo of milk, spice, caramel stevia drops, and apple cider vinegar. The hot milk pairs wonderfully with the pure flavored caramel stevia adding a smokey, buttery, and oh-so-sweet flavor balanced perfectly with a pure tart apple flavor from the apple cider vinegar, and the spice just divine autumnal warmth.

All this harmoniously blends into a macchiato, with the addition of a shot of espresso or the use of Javy coffee concentrate, which lends an aroma of chocolate and nut to fruity and floral.

In case you're not familiar with Javy coffee concentrate, it‘s packed with delicious roasted and slightly sweet coffee flavor. No more coffee makers, brewing equipment, or time wasted -- just tasty cold brew coffee any way you like it, at the drop of a hat.

About Sea Moss Gel

To top off all this deliciousness, I decided to add a superfood power by adding in some of Herbal Vineyards’ sea moss gel. After my friends at Herbal Vineyards reached out to me, I got into researching sea moss and discovered all the amazing health perks sea moss can provide.

What I love about the benefits of sea moss (especially around this time of year, with flu season on the horizon) is that sea moss is high in immune-boosting nutrients like iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc, so it may also support the immune system and help you fight off cold and flu symptoms. So, recently I've been trying to include more sea moss into my diet.

After testing in the kitchen I discovered that sea moss gel can be easily added to your coffee, to help you get in your sea moss dosage without eating it off the spoon. All you need to do is add it into a piping hot cup of java and stir until dissolved, and you can't even taste it but you get the benefits... cool right?!
