Review: Unicorn Gift Bracelets by Boonix
Review: Unicorn Gift Bracelets by BooniX
I’m super excited to share my review of some adorable unicorn bracelets from a company called Boonix. They’re a company based in California, and recently, they reached out to see if I’d like to test out their Unicorn Gift Bracelets, as well as a Closet Hanging Organizer that they are currently sending free with each bracelet purchase.
Unicorns are all-the-rage. There are unicorn cakes, unicorn tape dispensers, unicorn frappes, the list goes on.
Although, I gotta admit, I’ve fallen in love with them too. 💓
Ever since my younger sister got hooked on all-things-unicorn (she’s addicted - literally), I’ve come to love the mythical creatures just as much!
So today, I’m super excited to share my review of some adorable unicorn bracelets from a company called Boonix.
They’re a company based in California, providing premium accessories like fashion forward Apple watch bands and mobile device covers.
Recently, they reached out to see if I’d like to test out their Unicorn Gift Bracelets, as well as a Closet Hanging Organizer that they are currently sending free with each bracelet purchase.
Now, although I received them completely free-of-charge, all of my thoughts are completely my own (I promise 😊)! Without further ado, let’s get started.
THE PRICE: $12.95
Overall, I would say the length of the actual bracelet is about average, at 6 ½ inches. It hangs down at the end of my wrist when I wear it (my wrist measure is 5 ½ inches), which I find quite comfortable.
It also works for my 10-year-old sister, who has a smaller wrist. However, if you need a bit more length there is a chain extension at the end of the bracelet that measures up to 9 inches, which may come in handy.
I was actually really surprised about just how cute they were when I got them. The Amazon photos do not do them justice. Each bracelet comes packaged in a little silver bag, nestled in an (I would say aqua-green) box, ready for gifting.
The band’s colors are much more vibrant than they appear online, and although the charm hanging down a tad, I think they’re quite fashionable, especially for unicorn loving tweens to adults, like myself.
But one word of advice: try and keep the bands as clean as possible. From experience of wearing similar materials, they might get a bit darker with more wear, just keep that noted.
I’m actually not 100% sure what the chain is made of (I will update this when I find out), but it seemed well-made. Although it can be a bit fiddly to put on (my mum had to do up the clasp) it stay on sturdily once it’s all done and dusted.
The charms come in different materials depending on the ones you choose. The Blue Fly Unicorn charm seems to be metal, and I’m not sure about what the Ice Cream Unicorn is of, though it seems well made.
I’m really happy with the colouring and shape of the charms, they look exactly like what’s pictured online. Again I have to say that they look a lot cuter in real life, so keep that in mind, and don’t let the online pictures fool you.
When I first looked in the box, I wasn’t entirely sure what it was, but after opening it up I was pleasantly surprised. It has a large capacity for storing bracelets (and/or other accessories really) and it fits neatly in your closet. It’s an awesome bonus for something that comes as a free add on, I think it’ll make a lovely helper for storage.
Verdict: I think these bracelets are great! For the price, they are very comfortable and look like they’ll last.
The colours and design are really cute, but they work for people of all ages. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive but well-made gift (or if you just want one yourself 😉)!
